The cat did not swallow the bee, O Best Beloved! He was much too clever for that. 🧠
Instead, he held the bee very gently in his mouth—without biting—and carried him to the **Velvet Horizon Perch**. The sun was warm. The air was still. ☀️🏰
He set the bee down. The bee buzzed his wings. *Zzzzz-zzzz-zzzz.*
The cat listened. He closed his eyes. He felt the vibration of the bee’s wings against the velvet. He let the sound sink into his paws, up his legs, and into his chest. 🧘♀️
He tried to copy it. *Hrrr... hrrr... hrrr...*
It was scratchy at first, like dry leaves. 🍂 But then, the sun warmed his fur, and the vibration grew deeper. *Prrr... prrr... PRRRRR.*
Suddenly, his whole body was shaking! It was a motor! It was an engine! It was a purr! 🏍️✨
"I have it!" cried the cat internally. "I have the song of the sun!"
The Man-thing walked by and heard the sound. "Oh! The cat is fixed! He is happy!" And he gave the cat a bowl of cream. 🥛😋
And that is why, O Best Beloved, whenever a cat sits in the sun, he remembers the bee. He starts his motor. And he sings the song of the inner vibration. 🎶🐝
