At her kitten-naming ceremony, seven good fairies gave her gifts of grace, beauty, and a very loud purr. But then, an evil fairy—a grumpy old raccoon who lived in the chimney—appeared. 🦝👹

"Because I was not invited," the raccoon hissed, "the princess shall one day prick her paw on a loose floorboard and fall into a deep sleep for a hundred years!" 📉💤

The king was terrified. He ordered all loose floorboards to be covered with the finest human rugs. But the curse was entirely efficient. 📜🛡️

Years later, Cali was exploring the upper attic. She found a room with a single, sun-warmed floorboard. She couldn't resist. She performed a tactical paw-probe... and *ouch!* A tiny splinter pricked her bean. 🐾💉

She immediately fell into a deep, high-vibration melt. 🥞 The king and queen placed her on a **Heated Sun-Ray Mat** and surrounded her with a forest of ferns. 🌿🏰

A wall of thorns—otherwise known as the neighbor's untrimmed hedges—grew up around the palace, hiding it from the world. 🌳🛡️
