[Scene: The Guest Room. 🛌 THE STAFF enters, holding a cup of tea. They stop dead, their eyes wide as they behold the rainbow-colored disaster.]

THE STAFF:
"Muffin? Toby? What on earth... my wool! My expensive merino wool!" 👷‍♂️🧶🙀

MUFFIN:
[From beneath a web of red and blue] 🗣️🛑
Speak of me as I am; nothing extenuate, 🎭🏛️
nor set down aught in malice.
*"Staff! The yarn attacked us! It was a coup d'état of the fibers! We were but defending the guest bed!"* 🦁🛡️🧶

TOBY:
[Wiggling his pink-wrapped tail] 🗣️🍼
I am a kitten of many colors, Muffin! 🌈✨
Shall I perform the rainbow-sizzle? Or wait for the rescue-snips? ✂️

THE STAFF:
[Sighing and setting down the tea] 👷‍♂️☕
"Honestly, you two. Give me a minute. Don't move."

[The human servant uses a pair of silver scissors to slowly, carefully liberate the cats. One by one, the knots are severed. ✂️🛡️✨]

MUFFIN:
A hit! A very palpable hit! 🎯🐾
The Sovereign is free! The bonds are broken!
Observe, Toby! The Resident Staff possesses the magic of the blade!
They have restored our executive dignity with a single *snip*! 🏆🦁

TOBY:
I am once again a ginger cloud! ☁️🦁✨
Can we do it again? The yellow yarn was very tasty! 🧀😋

MUFFIN:
Never! One fabric fiasco is enough for a lifetime! ⚖️🛡️
We shall retreat to the **Cloud Nine Suction Perch**,
and watch the birds until our fur is dry of human embarrassment! 🪟🕊️✨

[The cats migrate to the window. THE STAFF begins the long, laborious process of re-rolling the yarn.]

MUFFIN:
All's well that ends well, 🎭🌎✨
even if it ends with a very disappointed knitter.
Toby, pass the salmon flakes... for we have survived the great web! 🏆🐟✨🐾

[Curtain falls. A sound of rhythmic rolling is heard.]
