[Scene: The Hallway. 🛣️ A single white sock is being dragged across the floor by a draft. Enter TOBY, looking very curious, and MUFFIN, who is currently auditing the baseboards.]

TOBY:
Curiouser and curiouser! 🧿🧿✨
The sock... it moves without a motor! It has a destination!
*"Stop, Sir Rabbit! You’re late for a very important nap!"* 🗣️🧦

MUFFIN:
Toby, stay thy paw! ⚖️🛡️
That is the laundry-chute of no return!
A portal to the basement dimension, where the air smells of lint
And the shadows perform a rhythmic, mechanical dance! 🌪️🧺

TOBY:
But I must follow! For science! For adventure!
The sock hath vanished through the gap in the door! 🚪💨

[TOBY squeezes through the door and finds himself in the Laundry Room. The world feels... *unrefined*.]

TOBY:
What a strange, tiled world! 🧼🏙️
The giant rotating drum—the dryer—is humming a low-frequency tune,
And the catnip... it’s everywhere! A forest of emerald leaves!
*"Drink me!"* a bottle of floor-wax seems to say! (I shall not). 🧪🚫

MUFFIN:
[Entering stage left] 🗣️👂
Welcome to the chamber of curiosities, Toby!
Where the Cheshire-moth fades into the wall-socket,
And the Chief Can-Opener is always shouting about missing linens! 👷‍♂️📢

TOBY:
I feel quite small, Muffin! Or perhaps the room is quite large?
I shall sit upon this **Oakwood Sill Throne** to regain my stature!
Wait... is that a tea party happening behind the detergent? ☕🧺❓
