The monster was inches from the rugβs edge. Its mouth was a gaping maw of suction. πͺοΈπ
Matilda focused. She leaped from her high perch and landed on the **Sun-Soaker Tower**, her eyes locked on the monsterβs tail (the power cord). π°π§ββοΈ
The cord was pulled tight. The plug was barely clinging to the wall. Matilda saw her opening. She performed a high-speed Vertical Scramble and gave the cord a massive TWANG. π»π₯
*Pop!*
The plug flew out of the socket. The roaring stopped instantly. The beast let out a long, dying whine and went silent. πβ οΈ
Silence filled the room. Glorious, golden silence. β¨
The Moral of the Story: *Even the loudest roar can be silenced by a single, sharp claw.* ππ¦π‘οΈ
The Human Bean rolled the monster back into the closet. Matilda sat atop her tower, looking sweet and harmless. But inside, she was the Hero of the Hearth. π§ β‘
