The Marquis of Muffin (Part 1): The Gift of Boots 🐈👢🏰✨🐾

Once upon a time, in a kingdom not so far from the local deli, there lived a miller who left nothing to his three sons but his mill, his donkey, and his cat. 🐈

The youngest son was quite despondent. "My brothers may make a handsome living," he lamented, "but as for me, when I have exhausted my resources, I shall have nothing left but a small, furry companion who eats more than he contributes." 😿

The cat, who was at that moment performing a meticulous audit of his left paw, heard these words but made as if he had not. He looked at his master with a gaze of absolute executive authority. 🧿🧿

"Do not be afflicted, my good master," said the cat. "You have only to give me a bag and get a pair of boots made for me, that I may scamper through the dirt and the brambles, and you shall see that you have not so bad a portion as you imagine." 👢✨

The master, having often seen the cat perform high-stakes tricks to catch moths and shadows, decided to trust the feline firmware. He provided the boots and a sturdy bag. 🛍️

The cat pulled on his boots with a flourish. He looked quite dapper! He looked like a sovereign of the sidewalk. He headed straight for the garden, where he used his superior smell-o-vision to track a brace of rabbits. 👃💨

But he did not engage in any unwholesome activity. No, O Best Beloved! He was playing the long game. He took his prize to the palace of the Resident Staff and demanded an audience with the king. 🤴🏰

"Sire," said the cat, bowing low, "here is a gift which my noble master, the **Marquis of Muffin**, has commanded me to present to Your Majesty."

The king was impressed. "Tell your master that I am much obliged to him."

The cat purred. Phase one was complete. But to truly claim the kingdom, he needed the high ground. He needed... the **Industrial Iron Sill Seat**. 🏰🛡️
