The Storm That Rattled the Throne (Part 1): A Structural Test 🌪️🏰🦁✨

The Resident Staff had been checking their weather app all day. 📱👷‍♂️ The prediction: **The Great Solstice Gale**. 🌪️🌬️✨

I was stationed on the top-level observation deck of my **Sun-Soaker Tower**, my fur performing a wind-resistance calibration. 📡🐾

"Muffin, the humans are moving the patio furniture," Arthur noted, looking out the window with clinical interest. 👴🐈‍⬛ "They only do that when the Outside is about to get loud." 🔊🚫🌬️

Suddenly, the first gust hit. 🌪️🚀 The window glass rattled—a sound of high-stakes vibration. 🪟🔊 The tower, which I usually find rock-solid, gave a tentative sway to the left. 📐🎢

"Is it an earthquake?" Toby squeaked, his pupils reaching 100% capacity. 🧿🧿🙀

"Negative, Toby," I replied, digging my claws into the sisal. "It is a **Structural Stress Test**. We must maintain our positions to lower the center of gravity." 📐⚖️🦁

But the wind wasn't finished. A massive, roaring blast hit the house. I could hear the trees in the garden screaming. 🌳🔊🌪️

The tower tilted. Not a little bit. A *lot*. 📉🚀

I looked at the Resident Staff, who were currently busy securing the front door. They hadn't noticed that their Sovereign was currently on a swaying mast in the middle of a hurricane. 👷‍♂️🚫👁️‍🗨️

"Arthur! We need more weight!" I howled. 📣

Arthur launched himself onto the base of the tower, his 15lbs of senior-cat muscle providing a momentary stabilization. 👴💪⚓ But the wind gusted again, even stronger this time.

The tower groaned. A sound of wood against metal. A sound of pending collapse. 🏚️💥

I looked out the window. A large branch from the oak tree had snapped and was currently flying directly toward the glass. 🌳🚀🎯🪟

"IMPACT IMMINENT!" I trilled. 🗣️🚨
